Sundar Pichai born in July 12, 1972, in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India in a Tamil family and his real name is Pichai Sundararajan, is the chief executive officer (CEO) of Google.

Pichai studied at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur(IITKGP), where he got a Bachelor of Technology in Metallurgical Engineering.

Pichai joined Google in 2004 and eventually worked his way up to be Page’s right-hand man.

Before his job at Google, Pichai worked at Applied Materials as an engineer and then at McKinsey & Company in management consulting.

Pichai interviewed at the Google on April 1st,(Fools’ Day) in 2004 — the same day the company launched Gmail

He had several interview rounds at Google, in the first 2–3 rounds he was asked whether he has used Gmail or not to which he replied no.
Later in further rounds, the interviewer asked him the same question but when he said no he was given to use it and give feedback about how it can be improved. All his suggestions were found to be very useful, and he got selected.

Sunder Pichai was the first to predict that someday Microsoft would build their own browser and replace the Google toolbar so Google should build it’s own browser.
It was found to be true. and then, Google Chrome was launched and Sundar was appointed as Head of products.

Pichai is considered to be one of the most versatile executives in the tech industry.

Sunder Pichai is with Google for many years and had played a key role in the development of Google Chrome, Google maps, Google Drive, Gmail, Android etc.
